As part of the lectures and before the hand out of the assignment. We were

tasked with creating Self-Illuminations maps. Using assets we had already

created, we applied a lava Self-Illumination map to a “Pit” asset. This caused the

glow seen in the renders, creating an amazing effect. The grate in the renders

uses an opacity map to make certain parts of it see-through. The chest is also

something I had modelled.
