The furniture assignment was the first 3D modelling assignment in the first

year. We were tasked with creating four pieces of furniture under 150 polys.

Keeping to strict UV boundaries, we also textured the assets using 512×512

resolution. We were taught to keep meshes as clean as possible, avoiding any T-

vertices and polys with tight angles to each other. Due to the effect, it could

have when in the engine; we wanted to avoid the likes of flickering textures
